Patricia Lahan

Patricia has been a part of Gardner Animal Hospital since early 2022 but has enjoyed working in veterinary medicine since 2020. She has worked in different clinics in Kansas but started her veterinary medicine journey in Colorado. Patricia is passionate about almost all aspects of veterinary medicine, but particularly enjoys being part of the orthopedic surgical team, collaborating with the doctors on clinical pathology and the validation of a difficult behavioral patient becoming a cooperative care partner! Since she was a child, she had always wanted to work with animals, and with a lifelong passion for science and medicine, the most perfect place for her is in veterinary medicine. Growing up in the military exposed her to a lot of various attitudes, world views and cultural regards towards animals, and she has taken those eye-opening experiences to heart to further the compassionate care towards every creature she comes across.

Her favorite animals are cheetahs, horses and delightful little kitty cats. She spends her time either working at Gardner Animal Hospital, in school to obtain her Registered Veterinary Technician license, playing video games, dabbling in various art mediums, exploring the world via cuisine or honing her photography skills.
