Another edition of Newshound is here for December 2010! When searching for stories in the news about pets, one will quickly notice some recurring themes. One of those is dogs saving people from house fires (or other dangerous situations). Today we feature 2 stories of dogs saving people from fires - and there were more, I only included two. Another oft repeated theme is cats (or dogs) who somehow find their way home from a distance - we have one here. We also hear about a Vet in Boston, who saved a Jack Russell by applying emergency CPR after it was hit in traffic. What else... oh --- a story about a woman who challenges a coyote that tries to steal away her toy poodle. Oh yes - people love their pets!
In this issue of Newshound, we visit Florida, where a wild bear cub with a jar stuck over his head is saved by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission employees . Also, a report on a new law affecting animals from Massachuchets, a dog named Belle calls 911 to save her owner, Sadie the Rottweiler gets a pacemaker, and in Denver, Willie the parrott saves a choking toddler.
In this issue of Newshound, we take you to NYC, where firefighters rescue 30 animals from a burning pet store, then to Tennesee where Beulah the blind goat is saved by Jehovah's Witnesses. Also, a reminder about the dangers summer heat poses to your pets, and a link to an article titled, "Five Things Pets Can Teach us About Relationships"...
Here's the April 2010 edition of Newshound, in which we look at various items from around the web, of Pets in the News. This month, we point to three microchip success stories (about pets reunited with family thanks to their pet microchip). We start with a story about a dog leading troopers to a house fire, and finish with a story about a dog who is a little less helpful to police...

Doggie Daycare
Doggie daycare provides a great outlet for all your dog’s energy. While you spend the day at work, your dog will have the day to play. At the end of each day, you both can go home and curl up on the couch together.
In addition, daycare provides important exercise and socialization that your dog might not otherwise receive. This can be valuable when dealing with behavioral problems or destructive behavior.
Our daycare program consists of supervised only playgroups. Playgroups are established based on size and energy levels. Our playgroup size never exceeds an 8:1 ratio, that gives our staff the ability to interact with each guests and pay special attention to playgroup activities.
